Some days you sit down to stamp and think, “What even is patterned paper? I’ll just make my own.”
And honestly… that’s exactly what happened here — and the Brushed with Beauty bundle from Stampin’ Up! was perfect for it.

Welcome to today’s project: a bold, elegant card using Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, soft vellum, and one of my favorite tricks for adding texture without overwhelming your design.

A Little Backstory…

My original plan involved a big mix of colors… until I realized that could quickly turn into “chaos with ink pads.”
So I pared everything down to two timeless Stampin’ Up! colors — Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow — and WOW. The Brushed with Beauty flowers really shine in this classic combo.

And the embossed vellum circle? Pure softness. If you want to elevate a card without adding bulk, vellum is your new best friend.

How to Make This Brushed with Beauty Card

1. Stamp Your Own Designer Paper

Using the Brushed with Beauty floral images:

Stamp florals in Cherry Cobbler
Add leaves in Mossy Meadow

Fill in the space randomly — rotate your stamp, overlap a little, and pretend you’ve been hired to design the next pack of Stampin’ Up! DSP.

2. Die Cut + Emboss a Vellum Circle

Cut a decorative circle from vellum, then emboss it with the Beautiful Pattern 3D folder.
It adds gorgeous texture while still letting your stamped background peek through.

3. Build the Greeting Cluster

This card uses:

The “just” die cut
A stamped “because” label
A third label stamped with “You’re So Lovely”

Layering these on top of the vellum gives that soft-but-bold focal point Brushed with Beauty does so well.

4. Add the Tiny White Die-Cut Flower

This little detail softens the whole card and adds a touch of sweetness.
Also great for covering a smudge — not that I’m speaking from experience. (I definitely am.)

5. Color Your Rhinestones

Use your Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends to tint clear rhinestones for a perfect color match.
It’s such a small step, but it really pulls everything together.

6. Assemble the Card

Basic White card base
Cherry Cobbler layer
Your custom DSP panel
Embossed vellum circle
Layered greetings
Sparkly colored rhinestones

Done — and so pretty.
