This card was the easiest fun fold of the three I did this week. It starts off with a Basic White Thick card base with one side scored in at 1″. The length is 7 1/2″ instead of 8 1/2″.
The next layers are both patterns from the Toadstool Garden Designer Series Paper. There are so many bright and pretty patterns in this paper.
After die cutting a square from the Stylish Shapes Dies, I added the grass in Granny Apple Green ink. The thank you greeting in the top right corner is also stamped in Granny Apple Green.
The tiny mushroom stem is stamped in Smoky Slate ink with a sweet Peach Pie cap! So cute!
Next I stamped the two large mushroom caps and punched them out with the coordinating punch and added stems before adhering to the square.
The square is attached to the RIGHT SIDE of the card with Multi-purpose Liquid Glue. It acts like a kind of hinge to hold the card closed. It’s a fun surprise for the the person opening the card!
Last but not least Fresh Fresia Seam Binding Ribbon and Purple Sequins! 💜
Check out the details for getting the supplies for this card and two others in this week’s Class to Go, including a detailed PDF tutorial.
